Platform 8 is a Belhaven pub on Academy Street in the heart of Inverness, serving food from breakfast through to evening. Dogs are welcome inside in designated seating areas, making it a practical central stop whether you're dodging Highland drizzle or refuelling between walks along the Ness.

The kitchen runs from 10am to 9pm daily, with pub hours stretching a little later – until 11pm Sunday to Thursday, midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The menu covers everything from morning plates to hearty mains and your dog can settle under the table while you eat.

It's a handy city-centre base close to shops and transport, useful for a quick bite or a longer session. Keep leads on and paws tucked in and you've got a warm indoor spot that works for both of you when the weather turns or the legs need a rest.
