That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

The Pump & Truncheon is a central Blackpool pub just off the busy tourist streets, half a mile from the tower and seafront. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in with a pint while your dog keeps tabs on proceedings from floor level.

Food is served throughout the week, with the kitchen running Monday to Thursday noon until 10pm, Fridays noon to midnight, Saturdays 10am to midnight and Sundays noon until 10pm. The pub draws a steady local and visitor mix, making it a useful pause after a seafront wander or before heading into the busier central streets.

It's dog-friendly without fuss and the location works well if you're looking for somewhere to sit down without trailing too far inland. No on-site parking is confirmed, but central Blackpool car parks are nearby.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside throughout the pub. Food is served daily, so your dog can supervise from under the table while you eat.
