Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:
9 Aug 2026
Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary is a small, welcoming visitor attraction near Mablethorpe where dogs on leads are very welcome in the sanctuary grounds. It's a proper day-out destination in Huttoft, run by volunteers caring for rescue donkeys and it opens on selected days throughout the season—no booking required, just a minimum £1 donation per person. Your dog can join you for a gentle stroll around the grounds while you meet the resident donkeys and hear their stories.
Leads are required at all times, which keeps everyone comfortable and lets the donkeys settle without fuss. There's no confirmation of indoor access for ordinary pet dogs, so plan for an outdoor visit. Opening days for 2026 include Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Sunday, Easter Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, then Saturdays and Sundays through the season.
Check the official site for exact dates before you travel. It's a low-key, heartwarming outing that suits dogs who don't mind sharing the limelight with a field full of long-eared celebrities.
