That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

RedWillow Brewery’s Buxton taproom is a laid-back craft beer spot set inside a beautifully converted former bank right on Cavendish Circus. It’s got that mix of character and buzz — original features, cosy corners (including an old office snug), and a steady hum of people working their way through the taps.

Beer is the main event here. Expect a rotating line-up of RedWillow’s own brews alongside guest pours, with multiple cask and keg lines keeping things interesting every visit. There’s also cocktails, artisan gins and a few simple food options (think bratwurst, fries, and easy beer-pairing bites rather than full sit-down dining).

It’s the kind of place you drop into for “just one” and end up staying longer — part taproom, part social hub, with a relaxed, welcoming feel that makes it easy to settle in after a wander around town.
