That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Ritorno Lounge sits right on Bristol's harbourside, a big, welcoming café-bar where dogs are welcome inside alongside their humans. It's part of the Loungers family, holding onto that relaxed, home-from-home feel even in the middle of the city buzz, with food and drinks served all day and harbour views that make any visit feel like a small occasion.

The atmosphere shifts naturally throughout the day, from quieter morning coffee stops to brunch crowds settling in, then easing into evening drinks as the light changes. The menu covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between, with enough variety to suit most appetites and a steady flow of people who clearly treat it as their regular spot. Upstairs, The Caraboo Room offers private event space, but the main floor is all about comfort, good food and that "we'll just stay a bit longer" energy.

Dogs pad in and settle under the table while the harbourside buzz carries on outside, making it a practical choice when everyone needs a sit-down and nobody wants to split up. It's a bigger space, but it never feels overwhelming, just steady, welcoming and useful whatever time you land there.
