That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Roll the Dice Café in Cleethorpes is the kind of place where the dog settles in and quickly realises… this stop might take a while. Drinks flowing, laughter building, and the unmistakable sound of board game rivalry kicking off nearby.
This dog-friendly café in Cleethorpes works as a relaxed café bar first and a board game hub second. You can pop in for a coffee, food, or a drink like any other spot, or lean into the full experience with a huge selection of games available for a small hourly fee. It’s an easy mix: casual if you want it, competitive if someone gets too confident with the dice.
Food and drinks run throughout the day into the evening, making it just as suited to a quick coastal pause as it is to a longer, stay-put session with friends. There’s a playful, social energy to it, but it never tips into chaos. Just good fun, done properly.
Dogs are properly thought about too. There are dog bowls filled with water in the outside area, water is available on request inside the café, and dogs are offered a treat when they come in, as long as their human gives the nod. They also sell doggie ice cream, which makes this feel less like “dogs allowed” and more like “yes, the dog has also been considered.”
A proper “everyone’s invited” kind of place, with a few sensible house rules to keep things running smoothly.
