Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Simonstone Hall Hotel & Restaurant is a country-house hotel with a public bar where dogs are welcome inside, tucked just outside Hawes in Simonstone.
The bar serves food alongside the restaurant menu and non-residents are more than welcome to drop in for a drink or a meal with the dog in tow. The bar runs afternoon tea from 1pm to 3.30pm daily, then evening service from 6pm, so there's plenty of scope for a destination stop whether you're passing through the Dales or settling in for the evening. Dogs can join you indoors while you eat, making it a practical choice when the weather turns or you'd rather not leave anyone outside.
It's the sort of place that works as well for a quick pint and a packet of crisps as it does for a longer sit-down meal and the fact that dogs are part of the furniture in the bar takes the usual will-they-mind worry off the table entirely.
