That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Small Goods is one of those Bristol spots where coffee and doughnuts are taken very seriously, but the atmosphere stays easy and unfussy. Tucked into Temple Quay, everything is made on site, from the doughnuts coming out fresh each day to the coffee that's been dialled in properly from people who know exactly what they're doing. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.
It's a simple setup done exceptionally well: grab a coffee, add a doughnut (then probably another), and settle in while the day ticks on around you. There's a steady flow of locals and workers dropping in, giving it that reliable, "we'll just stop here quickly" feel that rarely stays quick.
Dogs pad in alongside you, finding a spot while the coffee kicks in and the sugar decisions are quietly made. It's the kind of place where paws and people can relax together over proper coffee and fresh doughnuts, whatever the weather outside.
