Smiths Arms is a traditional Chef & Brewer pub on the western edge of Harrogate, with dogs welcome inside some areas of the pub. It's a handy stop for countryside walks around Beckwithshaw and anyone who wants proper food and a drink without having to divide the group between pavement and bar.

The pub serves breakfast from 9am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with the kitchen open through to 9pm every day. The dog-friendly spaces are available indoors and it's worth checking which areas are open for your visit when you arrive.

Water bowls and biscuits are mentioned on their dog-friendly page. The opening hours run from 11am most weekdays and 9am at weekends, giving you plenty of flexibility for a late-morning walk-and-pub combo or an early dinner before heading back into town.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside the pub in some areas, so nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty. It's worth checking which spaces are available for your visit when you arrive.
