Tattershall College is a free-to-visit historic ruin in Tattershall, about 21 miles by road from Lincoln. Dating from the 1440s, this English Heritage site was built as a residential college for priests and now stands as a quiet, atmospheric stop for a short heritage wander. Dogs on leads are welcome to explore the ground-level outdoor areas.

The site is open any reasonable daylight hours. There's no designated on-site parking, so you'll need to use the village market place for your car. Surfaces are uneven, climbing isn't allowed and there are no facilities on site, so keep it simple and keep your dog close.

It works well as a quick heritage pause alongside a visit to Tattershall Castle or as a gentle sniff-and-stretch stop on a longer day out in the area. Free, dog-friendly and steeped in medieval history.
