That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

The Mow is a proper little Bristol boozer just a short wander from Temple Meads, built around great beer, good food and that easy, "everyone's welcome" atmosphere. Dogs pad in alongside you, finding their spot while the pints, plates and conversations build around them.

Beer is a big part of the draw, with an ever-changing lineup across cask and keg, plus a strong range of cans, bottles, wines and spirits for mixing things up. Food comes via Cord Kitchen, keeping things well covered throughout the week, including a Sunday roast that's earned its place as a go-to.

It leans into being a true pub for all, with a relaxed, social feel that makes it just as suited to a quick pint as it is to settling in for the evening. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.

Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Keep them on lead and settled under the table while the pints flow.
