The Bay Horse is a village pub in Goldsborough, just off the A59 a few miles from Harrogate and Knaresborough. Dogs are welcome inside the bar, so the whole group can settle in for a proper stop without anyone relegated to the pavement. Food is served throughout the week, with the kitchen open daily from Wednesday through to Sunday.

The menu covers pub classics and seasonal dishes and dogs can stay with you at your table while you eat. It's the sort of place that works for a planned lunch or an impromptu pint when the dog walk has gone on longer than expected.

The pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but open from midday Wednesday to Sunday, with food service running until 8pm on weekdays and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday lunch is served until 5pm, making it a useful stop for weekend explorations around the Knaresborough area.
