Days Out Are For Dogs Too

The Blue Bell at Arkendale is a village pub just outside Harrogate where dogs are welcome inside, so nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty. There's a dog-friendly area in the bar and food is served throughout the day—breakfast from 8am, lunch and dinner through to 9pm most evenings and a relaxed all-afternoon Sunday service.
It's the sort of place that works equally well for a full Sunday lunch with the dog under the table or a quick mid-morning stop when you're passing through. The pub sits in Arkendale village, useful for A1 side-trips or a proper break from Harrogate.
Open Monday to Saturday 8am–11pm and Sunday 8am–10pm, with hot food available across most of those hours. No need to leave anyone outside or time your visit around the dog—just turn up, settle in and let them supervise proceedings from floor level.
