The Bug Farm is a substantial family visitor attraction just outside St Davids, bringing together tropical bug zoo displays, museum galleries, a walled garden, art spaces and an indoor play barn. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in general visitor areas, though some parts of the attraction are restricted to assistance dogs only. It's one of the strongest dog-friendly family days out in the St Davids area, offering enough variety to keep children entertained while your dog tags along through the accessible parts.
The site opens seasonally, generally 10:30–16:30 on open days, with Mondays closed all year and longer hours during school holidays and summer. Booking ahead is advised, especially on busy days.
Take dog waste home with you and check the current area restrictions on arrival if you're planning to explore the full site. Free customer parking is available on site.
