The Crown Inn is a village pub in Gayton, a few miles east of King's Lynn, with food, drink and dogs welcome inside the bar. The pub serves lunch and dinner through the week and roasts on Sundays, so there's a proper meal option for the whole group without leaving anyone outside. The bar is open daily from midday, closing at 10pm Monday to Saturday and 8pm on Sundays.

Food service runs lunchtime and evening during the week, with an extended Sunday afternoon window. Dogs are welcome in the bar area while the separate restaurant operates without them.

It's a useful detour if you're heading out to the west-side villages and need somewhere to eat with the dog in tow. The pub offers straightforward pub hospitality in a working village setting and nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty while the rest of the table eats inside.
