The Den & Terrace

The Den & Terrace is a Clifton pub that set out to recreate that hard-to-find feeling of a proper local, somewhere that works just as well for a quiet coffee as it does for a full evening out. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle while the rest of the group settles in.

Opened in 2020 after a full refurbishment, it blends relaxed daytime energy with a more social, lively atmosphere as the week builds. It's designed to cover all bases, from quick bites and after-work pints to pool, darts and longer catch-ups that stretch into the evening. The outdoor terrace comes into its own in warmer weather, while inside keeps that easy, welcoming feel where different crowds naturally mix.
