The Malt Room is a dedicated whisky bar in the centre of Inverness, just a short walk from the station and the Victorian Market. Dogs are welcome inside and food is served here too, so your table supervisor can keep a close eye on proceedings.

The bar specialises in whisky and the central location makes it a practical dram stop between trains, market visits or longer walks along the River Ness. The atmosphere is relaxed and the team are happy to see well-behaved dogs settle in beside you.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from noon until 1am and Sunday from 3pm until 1am. If you're threading through Inverness with a dog in tow, this is a useful spot to pause without leaving anyone outside. That straightforward access is the detail that turns a quick drink or meal into a genuine break for the whole group.
