The Nelson Inn is a substantial Brunning & Price pub on Skipton Road, on the northern edge of Harrogate. Dogs are welcome inside the bar, where you'll find a full food menu and plenty of space to settle in with a pint and your lead-carrying companion under the table.

The kitchen offers a dedicated dog menu, so while you're ordering your meal, you can sort your dog out with something proper too. Opening hours run from 10:30am to 10pm Monday to Thursday and Sunday and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday, making it a reliable stop throughout the week.

It's a useful roadside pub for dog walkers heading out on the Skipton Road side of Harrogate and the venue also promotes dog walk events. If you're planning a longer circuit or just need a decent pub lunch with your dog indoors, this one delivers.
