The Pine Marten is a large gastropub on the western edge of Harrogate, serving all-day food in a setting built for long lunches and proper pub nights. Dogs are welcome inside the dining spaces and at the bar, so everyone can settle in together while the fire crackles and the plates arrive.
The menu runs from breakfast through to late evening, making it a useful staging post before or after walks out toward Beckwithshaw and the surrounding countryside. Hounds are known to supervise proceedings from under the table and there's a relaxed atmosphere that treats dog company as entirely normal.
Open Monday to Friday from 7am until 11pm and weekends from 8am, the pub suits early-morning coffee runs, lazy weekend brunches and evening dinners without needing to rearrange the pack order. It's the sort of place where muddy paws don't raise eyebrows and tangled leads are just part of the furniture.
