The Swan Buxton is a warm, traditional town-centre pub with real ales, good company and an easy-going local feel. Set in the heart of Buxton, it’s the kind of straightforward, friendly stop that works well for a relaxed pint, a catch-up, or a cosy pause between town wandering and Peak District plans.

Inside, it has that proper pub rhythm: comfy seating, darts, conversation, regulars, visitors, and no need for everything to be polished within an inch of its life. It feels familiar in the best way, with a simple “come in and settle” atmosphere rather than a big performance.

A handy little Buxton stop when you want somewhere unfussy, sociable and genuinely welcoming.
