The Yard Coffee, Bar & Kitchen sits just outside Bude near Wooda, serving food and drinks in a dog-friendly bar where nobody has to volunteer for pavement duty. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in for lunch or dinner without shuffling tables or apologising to other diners. The menu runs from midday to late afternoon and again in the evening Thursday to Monday, with Monday lunch and evening service also available.
Tuesday and Wednesday see the kitchen closed, so plan accordingly. The Yard opens daily from 10am to 10pm, giving you room to drop in for morning coffee or an evening drink when the rest of the day has been dictated by sniff breaks.
Free on-site parking takes the drama out of arrival and the location makes it a handy stop for Wooda guests or anyone exploring the Bude area with a dog in tow. It's a straightforward, bar-led venue with indoor seating and a relaxed approach to four-legged company.
