That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Trelowarren Arms is a dog-friendly pub in Budock Water, a short drive from Falmouth centre, with dogs welcome inside. It is a useful choice for dog owners who want a proper indoor pub stop without heading into the busier harbour streets, especially after a local countryside walk or from nearby holiday accommodation.

Locally known as The Trelly, it has more of a village-pub feel than a tourist-centre one, which is often exactly what is needed when the dog has already performed a full inspection of the route in. Food service makes it a practical lunch or Sunday stop, rather than just a quick pint-and-leave situation.

Dogs should stay on leads and off the furniture, and part of the dining area is kept dog-free. Anyone booking with a dog should mention it, so the table plan does not become a small logistical drama. Parking is best treated as limited rather than guaranteed.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside and should stay on a lead and off the furniture. Part of the dining area is kept dog-free, so dog-owning diners should mention the dog when booking rather than doing the awkward doorway shuffle.
