Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

The Victoria Inn is a St Austell pub in the centre of Salcombe where dogs are welcome inside, including the bar. It's the sort of town-centre local where you can settle in with the whole group—lead tangled round the chair leg, bowl of water on the flagstones—and nobody minds in the least.
Food is served daily from breakfast through to 9pm, so whether you're after a full cooked start before tackling the coast path or a proper meal after a harbour walk, timing is rarely a problem. The menu covers pub classics and the kitchen keeps sensible hours throughout the week.
It's a practical base when you're exploring Salcombe with a dog: the harbour, estuary paths and South West Coast Path are all close by and you can return to a warm bar and a seat rather than juggling wet paws and a takeway in the car. There's no on-site parking, but Whitestrand and Creek car parks are nearby.
