The Wagon & Horses sits down on St George’s Quay by the River Lune, so it’s perfectly placed for a riverside stroll that doubles as a dog’s personal news bulletin. If you’re making a night of it, there are rooms too, with breakfast included for the morning-after wobble back into the world.
