Waterstones Café in Harrogate is a relaxed bookshop café where dogs are welcome inside, so you can settle in with the whole group for coffee, cake and a sit-down break in the middle of town. The upstairs café serves hot and cold food and drinks in a calm, unhurried setting — ideal when you've had enough of the Harrogate streets but the dog still needs to be part of the plan.

Water is provided for dogs and the lift makes it easy to reach the café without wrestling leads and stairs. It's a practical choice for shoppers, walkers and anyone who needs a proper stop without leaving their dog tied outside.

Open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 5 pm and closed on Sundays. The café sits in the heart of Harrogate, so it's easy to combine with a shopping wander or a longer dog day out in the town centre.
