Days Out Are For Dogs Too

Woodroast Coffee is a compact speciality coffee shop on Smith Street in the heart of Dartmouth, a short walk from St Saviour's Church and the old town. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can both settle in at one of the small indoor tables while you wait for your flat white.
The coffee is the main draw here and the central location makes it a handy pit stop between the embankment and the narrow streets higher up. Recent visitors mention popping in with their dogs and being warmly received by the team.
Street parking nearby is limited, so it's easier to use one of the town-centre car parks and walk down. It's a neat little refuelling spot when you need a proper coffee and your dog needs to get off the cobbles for ten minutes.
