The Ysgethin Inn is a riverside pub in Barmouth where dogs are welcome inside. You'll find it a few miles north of the town centre, handy for walks around Talybont and the Afon Ysgethin area. It's a useful stop if you're heading up the coast with a wet or tired dog in tow.

Food is served in the dog-friendly bar, so you can both settle in for a proper rest after the walk. The pub opens from 4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday to Friday and from midday at weekends; it's closed on Tuesdays.

CAMRA lists it as dog friendly and visitors regularly mention bringing their dogs inside. There's no fuss and no need to leave them in the car. Whether you're passing through or exploring the quieter stretches north of Barmouth, it's the kind of pub that makes the logistics of a dog day that bit easier.
