The Castle is a traditional village pub in the heart of Porlock, serving food and welcoming dogs inside the bar. It's an easy stop for visitors exploring on foot, with a warm, unfussy atmosphere and enough room for the whole party to settle in together. Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, where food is served daily at lunch and dinner.

The team are used to four-legged regulars and there's plenty of seating so you can find a corner that suits. It's the kind of pub where you can rest after a walk without worrying about leaving anyone outside.

The Castle opens seven days a week, with food served from 12pm to 3pm and again from 5pm to 8.30pm. It's centrally located in Porlock village, so you can wander the local streets and stop in without the usual car shuffle.
