The Cheshire Cheese feels like a proper local Warrington pub with a dog-loving streak built in. Its Facebook page describes it as “dog mad” and highlights live music, a large garden and an outdoor fire, which gives it the sort of sociable, easy-going feel that works brilliantly on a dog-friendly day out. It is the kind of place where one quick stop can very easily turn into a longer linger, especially once the dog has settled and the garden is involved.
