The Bottom Ship is a harbour-side pub in Porlock Weir, just outside Minehead, where dogs are welcome inside. The pub serves food Tuesday to Sunday with lunch and evening service and the whole crew can settle in while the Exmoor coastline does its work outside.
Inside, dogs can join you for a proper pub lunch or dinner, with tables available in the dog-friendly indoor areas. Reviewers call it a friendly old pub with good food and it works particularly well for walkers coming off the coastal path or exploring the harbour.
The pub opens Monday to Thursday 9am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 9am to 11pm and Sunday 9am to 10pm. It's a handy stop for coastal visitors, harbour wanderers and anyone whose day revolves around keeping the dog happy and fed.
