The Cairn Hotel is a dog-friendly pub and inn in Carrbridge, just off the A9 north of Aviemore. Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, so you can settle in for food and drinks with the whole group together – no need to leave anyone outside while you grab lunch or a pint.

The bar serves food and drinks throughout the day, opening from 12pm Monday to Saturday and 12:30pm on Sundays, running through to midnight each evening. It's a straightforward, practical stop for visitors exploring the Cairngorms or heading further north.

Handy after walks around Carrbridge and the Packhorse Bridge area, the hotel makes a useful indoor refuge when the weather turns or you're ready for something warm. The bar atmosphere is relaxed and pets are welcome, so your dog can sprawl under the table while you settle in for a proper break.
