The Seven Woods is an all-rounder local that covers a lot of bases without making a fuss about it. The pub highlights big portions of pub grub served all day, craft ales and everyday drinks, a heated patio, a kids’ play area, live sport on big screens and dogs welcome in the bar area. That gives it a broad, family-friendly appeal and makes it the sort of place that can work for lunch, dinner, match-day drinks or a sunny-weather stop with plenty of moving parts. There is a practical ease to it all. In dog-life terms, it is very much “everyone can come, nobody needs a special plan.”
