That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Tiso Aviemore Outdoor Experience is a large outdoor retailer in the heart of Aviemore, stocked with everything from walking boots and waterproofs to camping kit and climbing gear. Dogs are welcome inside the store and water bowls are provided for thirsty explorers who've already had their morning ramble.

The shop sits centrally in town, making it an easy stop before hitting the Cairngorms trails or after a muddy loop when you realise the spare lead has finally given up. The range is geared towards serious hill days and family adventures alike, so you can restock the treat pouch and grab a new harness in one visit.

Your dog must stay on a lead while you browse, which keeps things calm among the racks and displays. Free customer parking is available nearby, subject to time restrictions and the store shares the building with the Explorer Café—though dog access to the café area has not been separately confirmed.
