Horncastle is one of those quietly brilliant pub towns… small, unfussy, and full of places where the dog is waved in without a second thought 🐾🍺

🍺 Proper pubs & easy stops
Durham Ox → Relaxed, local feel with outdoor space that works well for a slower stop.
Sebastopol Inn → Cosy, traditional, and exactly what you want after a wander.
The Coach and Horses → Classic village-pub energy just outside the centre, worth the short hop.
The Admiral Rodney Hotel → A bit more polished, but still very dog-friendly and easy to settle into.

🍔 Food-led & casual bites
Harpers Bar → Burgers and comfort food… the kind that makes “just one” stop unlikely.
The Bull Courtyard Restaurant → Tucked-away feel, good for stretching into a longer, slower meal.
Three Horseshoes Campsite Pub/Cafe → Laid-back, slightly off the beaten path, and very easygoing with dogs.

🍸 Something a bit different
Bar Unico → More bar than pub, good for mixing things up.
The Black Swan → Central, simple, and reliable for a quick drink that turns into two.
